Julianne Moore doesn’t respect Sarah Palin
Julianne Moore takes her work seriously. The actress says she “read every single thing” she could about Sarah Palin and “watched every interview” in order to prepare for her role as the former Alaska governor in next spring’s HBO mini-series, Game Change.
But, asked by the New York Daily News if she developed a newfound respect for Palin after delving deeper into her life, the actress, 51, raised an eyebrow and sighed deeply.
“No,” she said quietly.
Moore recently admitted she’s getting sillier as she gets older. “I think the older you get the less appealing tragedy becomes,” she said.
“Life is tough and tough things happen and you just really feel the need, the desire, to laugh. That’s why I feel drawn to comedy now. I’m still looking at other projects but I feel comedy is exciting me more than dramatic roles.”
