Justin Bieber for Yeater baby DNA test as he slams ‘internet crap’
Justin Bieber will reportedly take a DNA test to prove that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby. TMZ cites a source close to the singer who claims that Bieber will take the test in two weeks’ time upon his return to the US.
It has also been alleged that Bieber intends to sue Yeater if the tests prove that he is not the father of her child.
Bieber is said to be keen to end what he refers to as a ‘bogus scandal’, and has allegedly instructed his lawyer to contact Yeater’s lawyers as well as to decide on a lab to run the test.
20-year-old Yeater filed a paternity suit last month claiming that she had sex with the singer following a Los Angeles concert in autumn 2010, and that he is the father of her now 3-month-old son Tristyn.
Bieber made an appearance on Today earlier this week, during which he denied ever having met Yeater, and his team have described the allegations as “malicious”.
Accepting his ‘Best Pop’ award at tonight’s MTV EMAs in Belfast, he said: “Thanks… There’s been a lot of crap on the internet lately.”
