Nina Dobrev suffers concussion on Vampire Diaries set

Nina Dobrev has suffered a concussion on the set of The Vampire Diaries.  The 22-year-old tweeted about the injury on Monday, admitting that she is still experiencing some pain from the incident, which occurred last week.

“Still feeling side effects from the concussion I got on set,” Dobrev wrote. “Ouchie. Good thing purple is a good colour on me otherwise…”

A rep for Dobrev said that the actress is “fine”, TV Guide reports.

Meanwhile, an insider told E! Online that Dobrev received “a bump on the head”, which she then had checked out at a local facility.

Dobrev returned to work shortly after the medical visit.

The actress recently claimed that fans will “go crazy” for the next episode of The Vampire Diaries, describing it as “almost like a movie”.

Dobrev’s co-star Ian Somerhalder recently confirmed that the two are dating, gushing over the “million things” that he loves about her.

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
