Tulisa Contostavlos air rage: X Factor judge accused of foul rant at BA staff
Fiery Tulisa Contostavlos launched into a foul-mouthed air-rage rant at 30,000ft on a busy tourist flight, it was claimed yesterday. The X Factor judge shocked passengers by yelling “Shut the f*** up” at a British Airways steward, sources say.
A row broke out when passengers were told to switch off all electronic devices in preparation for the plane’s landing in Majorca.
Despite the announcement, Tulisa’s boyfriend Fazer continued to use his phone. Fazer, 24, real name Richard Rawson, also a rapper in her band N-Dubz, had been using the phone in its flight-safe mode to play video games during the journey.
But when he carried on using it, a steward intervened to ask him to switch it off – at which point Tulisa Contostavlos, 23, began shouting at him, it is claimed.
A source on the flight told the Sunday Mirror: “It all suddenly kicked off. The BA guy was very mild-mannered and asked for the phone to be turned off. But Tulisa, who was sitting next to Fazer, got very angry.” She is said to have told the steward “Shut the f*** up! Shut the f*** up!”
A source close to Tulisa said: “She would never swear at cabin crew on a plane.”
