Khloe Kardashian hopes she’s a great stepmother

Khloe Kardashian says her own stepfather taught her how to be a good stepmother.

The reality TV star’s husband Lamar Odom has two children – Destiny, 12, and nine year-old Lamar Jr. – from a previous relationship and Khloe has been inspired by the way her mum Kris’ husband Bruce Jenner has brought up her children, while the former partners of her late father Robert taught her how not to behave.

She said: “I love children so much. I really feel like how Bruce stepfathered us was so beautifully done. I take advice from him and my dad had a lot of girlfriends that were really awful to us. Mean people would say mean things to us to get us away from him because they wanted him for themselves. I really have had awful experiences from stepparents or stepgirlfriends whatever you want to call them and I think I have great experience to be a stepmom.”

While she is happy being a stepmother, Khloe has openly admitted she and Lamar would like their own children but insists they’re not getting too worried about getting pregnant.

The 26-year-old star told website PopEater: “My doctor would send me a text message, these are you days that you’re ovulating and it wasn’t fun. Look I’m not going to knock it. God forbid in a couple of years, if I’m still not pregnant then OK, we’ll pay more attention. We’ve only been married 18 months and that’s still fairly new. I think people; the public want me to be pregnant.”
