Drew Barrymore is dating art consultant Will Kopelman
Drew Barrymore — who has been involved in an on/off relationship with her Going the Distance costar Justin Long for over three years — has reportedly been seeing the 33 year old for a few weeks.
After the pair were spotted in Los Angeles on Monday ahead of the actress’ 36th birthday yesterday, a source said the pair taking things slow.
“It’s a very new relationship,” said the pal. “They’re taking things slowly. They’ve been getting to know each other a lot better these last few weeks.”
However, the insider added that Will — the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman — is “a socialite type and a playboy” and don’t think he is looking for a serious commitment as he was spotted with another woman earlier this month.
Drew — who has been married twice to Welsh bartender Jeremy Thomas and comedian Tom Green – recently admitted she used to crave being in “crazy love”, but has become attracted to relaxed partners as and romances as she has grown older.
“When you’re young you just want to be in love. I call it crazy love, because you just want to have fun and you’re not thinking about the future or kids. You just want to have a good time with that person,” she said.
“Then, as you get older, even children aside, you just think, ‘God, I actually like when it’s easy, and I want these attributes from this person. I need these kinds of systems in place to feel calm.”
