Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he intends to return to acting. The former California governor revealed on his Twitter page that he has instructed his representatives at the Creative Artists Agency to find him a big screen comeback role.
“Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today,” he wrote.
Schwarzenegger stepped away from acting in 2003 after becoming Governor of California. His last major role was in Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, although he made cameo appearances in Around The World In 80 Days, Welcome To The Jungle and The Expendables.
The 63-year-old has recently been linked to a movie titled With Wings As Eagles, about an ageing German soldier who disobeys an order to kill children during World War II.
