Ben Affleck would call Matt Damon if in trouble

Ben Affleck says he’d call BFF Matt Damon in a time of crisis. The actor — who has known the Hollywood hunk for 30 — has revealed Matt would be the first person he would go to if in trouble.

“We’ve been friends for 30 years,” Ben said. “I can’t believe I’m old enough to say I’ve had a friend for 30 years. But he is a friend, and a partner in a company we have together.

“He saw The Town in five different versions and each time he saw it he presented me with pages and pages of very smart notes.

“I’ve got to a stage in life where I have learned who my real friends are. You don’t need many, you just need good, solid friends. My brother, Casey, is another one and my godfather is a really brilliant guy.”

Ben — who’s married to actress Jennifer Garner — recently revealed he lets his wife do all the cooking.

“Actually my wife cooks, I will be totally honest, she’s a great cook,” he said.

“I don’t even compare, I don’t want to insult her by trying… It’s out of consideration for her that I don’t try. She’s an incredible cook.”
