Brittany Murphy’s house has gone up for sale

The Hollywood Hills property — which both Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack died in — has gone into foreclosure and is to be auctioned off, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The house is 8,000 square feet on 1.29 acres.

Brittany passed away in December 2009. Back in March 2010, Brittany’s mom Sharon put the home on the market with an asking price of $7.25 million.

In April 2010, Brittany’s mom decided to pull the house off the market. About seven weeks later, Monjack was found dead in the home.

$4,035,666.92 is still owed on the home and an auction is set for Monday morning at 10:30 AM at the courthouse in Pomona, CA
