SAG Award for actress, TV Movie or Miniseries won by Claire Danes in “Temple Grandin”
The Screen Actors Guild Award for Actress, TV Movie or Miniseries has been won by Claire Danes for her role in Temple Grandin.
It was the first SAG Awards win for Claire Danes. She has previously been nominated at the SAG Awards for her role in The Hours.
“This is an incredible category, these are my friends I am nominated with,” Danes said. “In some ways, this was an isolating role to play. I couldn’t even look my fellow characters in the eye. I was blessed to work with some of the finest actors out there.”
The other nominees were, Catherine O’Hara in Temple Grandin, Julia Ormond in Temple Grandin, Winona Ryder in When Love Is Not Enough, and Susan Sarandon, You Don’t Know Jack.

Temple Grandin is a 2010 biopic directed by Mick Jackson and starring Claire Danes as Temple Grandin, a woman with autism who revolutionized practices for the humane handling of livestock on cattle ranches and slaughterhouses.
