Kara Tointon knew Artem was special

Kara Tointon has claimed that she knew Artem Chigvintsev was special shortly after meeting him. The former EastEnders actress admitted that she fell for her partner as they got to know each other on Strictly Come Dancing.

“I knew pretty quick that I’d met someone special,” she told Hello magazine. “We were getting to know each other and I thought, ‘God, I really like him’.”

Tointon added that the dancer “fitted in” easily when he celebrated Christmas with her family.

She continued: “It has been my dream to meet someone that my family would love as much as I did.”

The couple are currently performing on the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
