Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart sell their New York home
Harrison Ford and his wife Calista Flockhart are selling their New York home for $16 million.
The couple — who married in June 2010 in New Mexico — own a 9,000 square foot loft apartment on Seventh Avenue in Chelsea but have reportedly decided they no longer want to keep the property because it costs between $13,000 to $15,000 a month to maintain.
According to the New York Post newspaper, the pair — who raise Calista Flockhart’s nine-year-old adopted son Liam together — are now looking at purchasing a $12.5 million estate in Mandeville Canyon, in Los Angeles, where Harrison’s friend Steven Spielberg lives.
Whoever buys the home in the city will be able to count Meryl Streep and Janet Jackson among their neighbors.
The couple own another two properties — one in the exclusive Brentwood area of California and an 800-acre compound near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Harrison Ford can currently be seen playing grumpy news anchor Mike Pomeroy in new film Morning Glory alongside Rachel McAdams.
