Matt LeBlanc doubts Friends reunion

Matt LeBlanc is sick of rumors of a Friends reunion. The actor, 43, is determined to move on from his famous role as Joey Tribbiani to the point where he has even ruled out a spoof Friends return with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer in his new show Episodes.

“I think probably not,” says Matt of a final Friends fling.

“I know, no one wants to let that go but I think it’s done. It’s not up to me but I don’t think it’s ever going to happen now.”

Matt LeBlanc recently defended his Friends spin-off series Joey.

“I thought we had a good cast and it was really fun,” he said. “In my opinion, what ended up happening was he was a little bit more of an emasculated version of the Joey that was on Friends.

“He was a little more down. Joey was always the glass is half full, no matter what the situation is, kind of guy. He was never really depressed. I think the show kind of got away from that and it became less fun.”
