Kelsey Grammer still loved by Camille Grammer
Camille Grammer says she still “loves” and “respects” her estranged husband Kelsey Grammer — despite the fact he left her for 29-year-old flight attendant Kayte Walsh.
However, Camille doesn’t think she and Kelsey will ever reconcile — because he wants to marry again in January.
“I still love my husband, my soon to be ex husband,” she said. “I respect him as a person, I don’t respect how he handled the affair and the divorce and how things went down. He’s in love, he’s getting married, so I don’t think there’s any reconciliation.
“Someone gets engaged and tells you he’s going to get married in January and we’re still legally married. We’re separated, we’re not divorced yet. Our divorce is not finalized, and I got word that he’s getting married in January.
“I would love to have an open dialogue with my husband at this point because I think it’s really important to co-parent, and the only way we’re going to co-parent the correct way is if we talk, and right now it’s through e-mail and lawyers.
“Right now my focus is moving through this divorce process, because it’s really taking up a lot of my time, and basically healing and my kids.
“My kids are my number one priority and making sure that they’re OK and they’re healthy and they’re happy.”
Insiders recently claimed the Camille wants to take Kelsey to the cleaners financially.
“Let’s get this divorce over with — so I can get married again!” Kelsey allegedly told Cammile.
Kelsey is said to have canceled his Thanksgiving plans with his children so he can spend the holiday with Kayte.
“Kelsey’s new life with Kayte has taken priority over the kids,” the source said.
“Now he wants to rush the divorce so he can marry Kayte.”
Meanwhile, Kelsey has filed legal documents seeking to protect his retirement and business accounts from any unauthorized withdrawals by his soon to be ex-wife.
Grammer filed the documents in Los Angeles Superior Court, naming his various pension plans and business accounts as claimants in his divorce, and by doing this, the parties won’t be able to make any payments without proper notice, or until there is a divorce judgment.
Kelsey named Equity League, Screen Actors Guild, AFTR Health & Retirement Funds, Screen Actors Guild, Producers Pension Plan, Gramnet Inc (Kelsey & Camille’s production company), and the Directors Guild of America.
Kelsey is seeking “an order determining the nature and extent of both employee and non-employee spouse’s interest in employee benefits under the plan, an order restraining claimant from making benefit payments to employee spouse pending the determination and disposition of non-employees spouse’s interest if any, in employee’s benefits under the plan,” the document said.
Kelsey and Camille married on August 2, 1997.
