Kathy Griffin is worried about her safety! The Hollywood funnyman has apparently increased her security following the controversy she caused with her recent fat jokes about chubby funster Bristol Palin.

“The Palin family has a unique following of people who either love or hate them,” a source told the Pop Eater website.

“After the remarks, Kathy is worried about her own security and is taking extra precautions to make sure she is safe.

“Kathy is a very strong woman, but we are worried.

“All it takes is one nut job to do something stupid. Her extra security is just a precaution until all this blows over.”
