Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might get married

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might be getting married — just to please their eldest son Maddox, according to a new report. Britain’s Now magazine says the 9-year-old stunned the Hollywood couple by begging them to tie the knot.

Jolie and Pitt — who raise six kids together — are said to be considering nuptials next year after Maddox made his heartfelt plea to Brad during their guys’ trip to NYC earlier this month with Pax, six.

“Before the boys left, Maddox found Angie in tears in his parents’ bedroom,” a source said.

“Maddox hugged her and when they got to New York, told Brad: ‘Mommy gets so sad when you’re not there, Daddy, and if you were married she’d know you’ll come back’.

“Brad was shocked: he’d always promised he’d marry Angie if the kids needed that security.

“They’re thinking about a quiet ceremony on a far-flung beach.

“The kids are very excited and are helping to plan it.”

Jolie — who has previously been married to actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller — recently revealed any future wedding plans lie in the hands of their six children.

“I think it would be hard to say ‘no’ to the kids,” she said earlier this year while promoting a movie. “They’re not asking. They are very aware nothing’s missing.”
