Kat Von D: My house burned down with my cat inside

Kat Von D is in mourning after her house burned down with her cat in it late Sunday. The tattooed reality TV star — who’s dating Sandra Bullock’s cheating ex-husband Jesse James — took to Twitter Monday to announce her devastating news.

“My house burned down last night with my cat inside,” she wrote. “Finally get to sleep away the remainder of today. Hope tomorrow is gentler.

“In order to gain everything, you must lose everything.”

Kat — whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg — wrote in a later Tweet that despite the misfortune, she’d be plodding on with a tour promoting her latest book, The Tattoo Chronicles.

Kat recently denied claims she had rekindled her romance with former flame Nikki Sixx.

“I’m not dating Nikki,” she told USA Today.

“We didn’t get back together. Jesse and I didn’t break up.

“I’ve known Jesse for a long time, since I was 22-years old.

“I think he’s probably one of the most kind-hearted, intelligent human beings.”
