James Nesbitt: Lucky Man is back bigger and bolder

OHMYGOSSIP — James Nesbitt says the new series of ‘Lucky Man’ is “bigger and bolder.”
The 53-year-old actor reprises his role as detective Harry Clayton, who gets supernatural luck from an ancient bracelet he wears in Series 3 of the Sky One series – inspired by Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee – and he thinks fans can look forward to even more thrills.
Speaking on ‘The Chris Evans Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2, he said: “We were thrilled to bring it back and Sky have committed a lot to it, as have Carnival who made it. This third series is bigger and bolder, and more ambitious.”
The ‘Cold Feet’ star and his castmates shot the new episodes in Hong Kong and he thinks the city acts like another character in the plot.
He mused: “‘Lucky Man’ always used London as a character in the show and it was shot very beautifully and this has carried on with Hong Kong. It’s got that backdrop overlooking the harbour, we were able to film in all of the markets at night.
“For the comic book flavour and for the Stan Lee flavour and the visual style which we tried to enhance more in this series, Hong Kong seemed to suit perfectly. A lot of the time we were filming in the markets and in the sampans and all around the place without people realising so it gives it almost a documental side as well.”
Series 3 of ‘Lucky Man’ airs from tonight (20.07.18) at 9pm on Sky One.
