Julianne Moore: Date nights with husband are impossible

Julianne Moore finds it “impossible” to go on dates with her husband.

The Far From Heaven actress “admires” couples who are able to go out and spend quality time together because she and her director spouse Bart Freundlich – whom she married in 2003 and has children Caleb, 12, and eight-year-old Liv with — are always too busy with their working commitments.

“That’s kind of impossible,” she said of date nights “I admire people who manage that.

“We try to get out when we can. We’re like any other couple. It’s always difficult.”

However, despite the struggles to spend time together, the 49-year-old beauty insists her family are her main priority.

“I think at the end of the day, the most important thing really is your family,” she said.

Julianne has previously spoken about her difficulty to spend quality time with her husband since having children, but insists it is not a problem for them.

“Your relationship is never going to be what it was at the start — and the fact it’s not is something that we struggle with,” she said.
