Spencer Matthews wants ‘private’ wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Matthews wants a “private” wedding.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star proposed to his girlfriend Vogue Williams recently and, although they’re yet to think about wedding plans, he’s decided he doesn’t want their big day documented on camera and only wants close friends and family there.
Speaking to new! magazine, he said: “I think it’ll be very private.”
And, although they happy couple are yet to put plans into motion, Spencer has already decided that he wants his former co-star Jamie Laing to be his best man on the day.
Jamie, 29, said recently: “It’s super exciting, she’s so gorgeous and I’ve never seen Spencer so happy. She’s honestly one of wickedest chicks ever and he’s lucky to have her and he knows that and they’re very much in love.
“And I’m going to be best man…I haven’t been told that yet but I’m taking it on. We’ve known each other since we were 15 years old and I couldn’t be happier for him.”
Spencer – who met Vogue whilst starring on Channel 4 show ‘The Jump’ – proposed to the 32-year-old presenter following a performance of Disney’s award-winning musical, ‘The Lion King’ at The Lyceum Theatre in London’s West End last month.
The pair had the best seats in the house whilst watching the show and were guided to the beautifully lit-up stage following the backstage tour, where he proposed.
Spencer, 28, said: “I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.
“‘The Lion King’ is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
