Christina Milan steps out in California amid split news

Christina Milian was all smiles as she stepped out in California Monday afternoon — the same day she announced her split from husband The Dream.

The Dip It Low hitmaker was snapped holding her baby daughter Voilet as she strolled around Toluca Lake — where she was spending time with her mom/manager Carmen Milian.

Christina and The Dream — real name Terius Nash — wed in September of 2009. Their daughter Violet is 5-months-old.

In their statement Monday, the former couple said their marriage had been “unsuccessful” — but vowed to keep things amicable for the sake of their child.

“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward,” the statement said.
