Liam Gallagher slams Calvin Harris

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher thinks Calvin Harris is the “most boring person”.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ singer has slammed the ‘This Is What You Came For’ hitmaker as dull and has branded DJs as the “new accountants”.
When it was suggested DJs have become the new rockstars, Liam laughed: “Did they? Not in my world, they haven’t. What, Calvin f***in’ Harris? The most boring f***ing person? F**k off, mate … I’ll tell you what they’ve become: the new accountants!”
And the 44-year-old star thinks the public have been waiting for someone like him “who doesn’t bulls**t people” to get back into music.
He added: “I think people are starting to realise what they’ve been missing. Someone who’s completely 100 per cent into it; someone who doesn’t bulls**t people or stand for bulls**t.”
And Liam insists he isn’t nervous about the release of his upcoming debut solo LP ‘As You Were’ because he knows it is a “good record”.
He told Huck magazine: “Listen, there are going to be people who don’t like me, full-stop. ‘He’s a ****. F**k off.’ I can work with that because I give as good as I get. There’ll be some critics who like it and some people who just put the f***in’ boot in. That doesn’t matter. As long as the fans like it, we’ll make another record. If they don’t, there’s no point in me doin’ it.
“With the Beady Eye albums, it was just that people weren’t listening or maybe things didn’t connect for whatever reason. Maybe it was too soon after Oasis or the line-up was too similar. Maybe it just wasn’t f***ing good enough. But I think people will respond to this differently. If the question means, ‘Are you nervous?’ Not one f***in’ bit. I’m con dent. F**k everyone else. This is a good record.”
