OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Wilson would happily return to be a judge on ‘The Voice UK’ again if he was asked.
The 39-year-old singer appeared as a critic on the show for three series before leaving the programme last year, and he has admitted he quit the show after winning twice in a row because of the money, although he would happily make a comeback if he was offered the opportunity again.
Speaking about the role on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Wednesday (05.04.17), the Kaiser Chiefs frontman said: “Well I said that jokingly but it was kind of true.
“I won it twice in a row, don’t forget that folks, but I thought if I did it again ‘What would be the reason for doing it?’
“And the only reason would be money really, and that’s not a good reason.
“Oh God if they came knocking I’d do it again.”
Although the ‘I Predict A Riot’ hitmaker decided to quit the talent contest, he has admitted he loved being a part of the programme and had “the best time” being a part of the series for three years.
He explained: “I’d done it for three years and really enjoyed it, it was the best time I’d ever had.”
The British star is “proud” of his career successes and will not shy away from his fame because he likes being recognised in public by his fans.
He said: “I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved. I really hate those celebrities that say ‘Oh god don’t’, you’re as famous as you want to be.
“If someone shouts ruby at me, great. I don’t like being spotted every day but when they do it’s great.”
