OHMYGOSSIP — Louisa Lytton wants to return to ‘EastEnders’. The 28-year-old actress waved goodbye to Albert Square back in 2006 when she bowed out as Ruby Allen but she has admitted she’d be open to a comeback if the bosses were able to weave her back into the storyline over the next coming months. Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (08.02.17), Ruby – who appeared on the soap for just over a year – said: “I could go back – I’m not dead! I left in the back of a taxi. I could go back but there are no family members there.” Ruby was last seen in Walford over a decade ago when she left in the back of a taxi after she fell out with her best friend Stacey Fowler – portrayed by Lacey Turner – when her relationship with her boyfriend Sean Slater (Robert Kazinsky) broke down. She added: “I loved my time [on ‘EastEnders’] and it was my launching pad.” Louisa later starred as PC Beth Green in ITV’s ‘The Bill’, competed as a celebrity on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and is now currently starring as Rizzo in the touring theatre production of ‘Grease’ alongside The Wanted’s Tom Parker. Although her return to ‘EastEnders’ is just whispers at the moment, bosses of the long-running soap are used to bringing back some familiar faces as Michelle Fowler (portrayed now by Jenna Russell) has just made a shock comeback to the Square. It’s also thought Jo Joyner will reprise her role as Tanya Branning, who left Walford in 2013 and made a brief cameo in the 2015 anniversary episode, sometime this year. But while people are coming and going from the show, one person who will be sorely missed is Danny-Boy Hatchard as he’s set to bow out as former soldier Lee Carter, who is currently battling with severe depression, over the next coming weeks.
