OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams will be out of action for three months after rupturing her knee during training for ‘The Jump’. The 31-year-old model was poised to compete on the Channel 4 programme before she suffered an injury in training and Vogue has now revealed the full extent of her problem, admitting she’s “devastated” she’s been forced to withdraw after damaging her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). She wrote in her Hello! magazine blog: “It was just such a pity and I’m devastated to say that I’m now out of the show. “I’ve ruptured my ACL in my knee so I’m going to be out of action for about three months. “I was practising my ski cross and had a fall but luckily the medic was there and I got back down the mountain super fast.” Vogue said she was especially upset because she was relishing the challenge and had made numerous good friends while filming. She said: “I’m so upset. It was literally the best four weeks I’ve ever had. “I’m so disappointed. I’ve made really good friends.” Following her injury, Vogue was replaced on ‘The Jump’ by model Amy Willerton, who successfully made it through the first show last night (05.02.17). Instead, former ‘Big Brother’ star Josie Gibson became the first celebrity contestant to leave the show after she refused to take the first jump down a slope. As a result, Josie didn’t even get a proper send-off from host Davina McCall, who ended the episode with Josie still stranded at the top of the jump.
