OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan will start recording his debut album soon.
The 23-year-old One Direction singer recently released his debut solo single ‘This Town’ and has been hard at work writing new material for his album, which he hopes to release next year.
In a handwritten message to fans, sent out via his email newsletter, Niall wrote: “I’m doing the final bits of writing over the next couple of weeks and then it’s time to record the album. Can’t wait to share the album with you all.”
Niall also revealed he recently took a trip to Nashville, where he worked on his solo material.
He explained: “I did a writing trip to Nashville, which was amazing. Wrote some good stuff and met some cool people.”
And Niall thanked his fans for their reaction to his new single.
“Thank you for your incredible reaction to my first solo song. I’m simply blown away by the love ‘This Town’ is getting. You never fail to surprise me with your passion and support.”
The singer will perform the single on the ‘Graham Norton Show’ this week and admitted he is slightly nervous about it.
He said: “I’m doing my first TV performance this week on Graham Norton which is really nerve wracking and exciting all at the same time. I’ll be doing other TV shows over the coming weeks too, so listen out for news on that.”
