Perrie Edwards feels tormented by Zayn Malik
OHMYGOSSIP – Perrie Edwards is reportedly insulted by ex Zayn Malik slamming their relationship while discussing his new album. The Little Mix singer and former One Direction star ended their engagement last year (2015), not long after Zayn’s shock exit from the boy band. He’s since forged a successful solo career, with his debut album Mind of Mine dropping last month (Mar16), and he’s also found love again with superstar model Gigi Hadid.
As he flaunts his new relationship and solo fame, Perrie has been left feeling increasingly uncomfortable, especially as he continues to hint at their time together. “She feels like he is tormenting her all the time,” an insider complained to Britain’s Reveal magazine. “Barely a week passes without him making some veiled comment about not loving her, and she’s been pushed to the limit.
“For Zayn, it may be just an interview to promote his album, but for Perrie it’s adding insult to injury every time he talks about their relationship and makes out it was less than it was. Perrie is furious because, as she sees it, she was madly in love with Zayn and they had been getting on great – then he dropped the bombshell that he was leaving her.”
The source added that the blonde beauty feels her former beau may be doing this to impress his new flame Gigi, from whom he has been inseparable in recent months. It’s thought they met when the fashion star appeared in the music video for his track Pillowtalk, with the couple kissing and holding each other in the footage.
While Perrie has put on a tough front in public despite the circumstances, the insider notes she becomes emotional upon seeing him in the media.
