Vicky Pattison lands acting gig
OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison has reportedly landed a role in the detective sitcom ‘Murder In Successville’. The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star, who shot to fame guzzling booze and partying up a storm in Newcastle, is set to kick off her acting career after she was dished out the role of a policewoman in the detective sitcom ‘Murder in Successville’.
A source explained: “Vicky wants to be an actress; it’s all she’s ever wanted. She’s chuffed she’s won a role in ‘Murder in Successville’. It’s tongue-in-cheek, but you have to have a certain amount of talent to get picked for that series and she jumped at the chance. Going for ‘Geordie Shore’ was always a means to an end, she realised it wasn’t going to come easy and she needed to get noticed.”
And, although she’s yet to shoot the BBC Three series, the 28-year-old beauty already has her sights set on Hollywood and is keen to land a role in the US comedy ‘Drunk History’.
The insider added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Vicky is pulling out all the stops to become a serious acting professional and ultimately wants a Hollywood career.”
However, Vicky, who won over the hearts of the nation last year when she was crowned queen of the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle’, is concerned her Geordie accent will prevent her from cracking America.
She said recently: “I don’t think they’d understand my accent.”
