Queen Letizia debuts new hairstyle
OHMYGOSSIP — Spain’s Queen Letizia continued her reign as the country’s top trendsetter by unveiling yet another new hairdo at a military parade in Madrid on Wednesday (07.01.16).
The Spanish monarch has developed something of a reputation as being one of the country’s top trendsetters when it comes to her hairstyles.
And as she kicked off 2016 with her first official engagement of the year at a military parade in Madrid, Letizia wowed once again with a stylish updo.
Letizia wore her brunette locks in a chic chignon, with the back part artfully teased into an intricate knot.
Her hairstyle perfectly complemented the elegant black gown the 43-year-old wore for the occasion, with the winter white lining of the dress coordinating with her blazer.
A pair of sky-high black heels and delicate drop earrings finished off her look.
She was accompanied by her husband King Felipe VI for the ceremony, which also sees the king make a speech from the Throne Room at the palace.
Letizia is widely considered to be one of the world’s most stylish royals. However, she isn’t afraid to recycle looks and has so far worn her favourite Magrit suede shoes on twelve separate public occasions.
