OHMYGOSSIP – Helena-Reet Ennet worries about how to protect her children from the seedy side of the internet. The Scandinavian top blogger, entertainment journalist and “Ohmygossip Couture” brand developer — who raises Estella Elisheva (8) and Ivanka Shoshana (6) with husband Margus  – told exclusively to Iltamakasiini magazine that she’s concerned about her kids accessing filth, Iltamakasiini.fi mediates.

“The internet is just so challenging as a parent. Your children are a click away from pornography and pedophilia, and it’s just really upsetting,” she said.

“It feels like a siege. It really makes me upset. You really don’t know who they are Skyping with or who are behind the games that girls play on iPad. I’m trying to stave all that off as long as I possibly can, but I know it’s a reality. It’s just inevitable.”

“I don’t know how long other kids are in internet – but my girls try to play games in computer, iPad or telephone as soon as I turn around. I have tried to make the rule, that they can play in internet only on Sundays – but somehow they keep to brake this rule all the time. As a mother its very big challenge to keep your childs out of virtual world in this digital age.”
