Adriana Lima ‘honoured’ to be the face of Marc Jacobs
OHMYGOSSIP — Adriana Lima has said she feels “honoured” to be heading up the campaign for the Marc Jacobs’ new ‘Decadence’ perfume.
The 33-year-old model feels “honoured” to be heading up the campaign for the 52-year-old designer’s new Decadence perfume.
Along with an image of herself and Marc, Adriana wrote on Twitter: “So honored to be chosen as the face of @MarcJacobs new fragrance Decadence…shot by the incredible Steven Meisel (sic)”
The new fragrance is said to mark a move away from the sweeter more youthful scents Marc is known for – such as ‘Daisy’ – and ‘Decadence’ will instead be more exotic, which would explain the brand’s choice of Adriana.
The stunning supermodel was dressed by the designer for Monday night’s (04.05.15) Met Gala in New York to mark their new partnership.
The busy mother-of-two’s signing with Marc Jacobs is the latest in a long line of lucrative contracts for the star, who was last year named by Forbes as the second highest-paid supermodel in the world with earnings of $8m over a 12 month period.
As well as being one of the lead models for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret, she has worked for brands including Maybelline, Donna Karan, Armani, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Desigual.
