Britain’s Prince William enjoys shopping spree
OHMYGOSSIP — Britain’s Prince William was spotted enjoying a shopping spree in department store John Lewis ahead of the birth of his second child with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, who is due to go into labour any day now.
The 32-year-old royal was spotted browsing the shelves at department store Peter Jones in London’s Knightsbridge, followed by two security guards and a personal shopper.
The second in line to the throne – whose wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, is expected to go into labour any day now – spent around £800 on a selection of casual clothing, including multiple pairs of John Lewis and Gant jeans and two blue wool, v-neck jumpers, an onlooker told US Weekly.
Prince William is said to have spent most of his time in the store concealed in his dressing room trying on the garments while his personal shopper was seen dashing back and forth collecting the correct sizes.
A source added that the royal was extremely pleasant towards all the staff and even refused to allow his shopping aide to help carry his purchases out of the store.
The insider said: “Prince William was very nice to all the staff.”
The prince – who already has a 21-month-old son, Prince George, with the brunette beauty – recently returned to London to start his paternity leave after completing his air ambulance helicopter training earlier than expected.
