Reese Witherspoon is reportedly planning to open a hotel

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth are reportedly planning to open a boutique hotel in Nashville. The ‘Wild’ star and her husband Jim Toth have been eyeing up potential properties in Nashville, Tennessee, suitable for a boutique hotel but are yet to officially seal the deal.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “They’ve gone down a few times to look at properties.”

The insider added: “They’ve met with an architect and decorator, but they haven’t officially signed everything yet.”

The 38-year-old actress is yet to announce her plans to invest in a hotel, but teased fans earlier this week on Twitter when she hinted that she has a “secret project” lined up.

She tweeted on Tuesday (10.03.15) alongside a photograph of herself holding her index finger up to her lips outside a vintage-looking mansion: “#SecretProject….coming soon…. (sic).”

The blonde beauty grew up up Nashville and regularly goes back to visit her parents, who still live in the area, so it comes as no surprise that she’s keen to set up a business venture there.

And refurbishment is something Reese is familiar with as she and Tim splashed out $1.95 million on a run down home in Oak Hill, Tennessee, with the view of doing it up last August.

Meanwhile, Reese – who has two-year-old son Tennessee with Tim, and daughter Ava, 15, and son Deacon, 11, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – currently has her hands tied up with launching her new lifestyle brand, Draper James, this Spring.
