‘Be ready!’: Doctor Who: Flux is coming to screens on Halloween!

OHMYGOSSIP — Series 13 of ‘Doctor Who’ is subtitled ‘Flux’ and is set to premiere at the end of October.
Before ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ aired on BBC One on Saturday night (09.10.21), a trailer aired for the eagerly-awaited return of the iconic sci-fi series, which is set to return on Halloween (31.10.21).
In the 20-second clip, Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor said in an urgent transmission: “Can you hear me? Listen carefully, we don’t have much time.
“The Flux is coming. It’s bringing with it the Sontarans, Weeping Angels, creatures known as the Ravagers and enemies from across the Universe.
“This is the fight of our lives.”
Stood behind her was Yasmin Khan (Mandip Gill) and new companion Dan Lewis (John Bishop) manning the Tardis.
The latter shouts: “Doctor, we need you!”
And Yasmin says: “I can’t hold it much longer, Doctor.”
The Doctor ends the video with the warning: “It’s coming. Be ready.”
BBC also confirmed on Twitter: “The Doctor returns for her biggest adventure yet.”
‘Game of Thrones’ actor Jacob Anderson is also a new cast member taking on the role of ally, Vinder.
‘Doctor Who: Flux’ is a six-episode limited series.
It will mark the last instalment for the first-ever female Time Lord, Jodie, and longtime showrunner, Chris Chibnall, who will be replaced by Russell T. Davies – who is returning 12 years after he stepped away from the series.
The ‘It’s A Sin’ creator will be responsible for overseeing ‘Doctor Who’ when it celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2023 and beyond.
Speaking about his sensational return, Russell said: “I’m beyond excited to be back on my favourite show. But we’re time-travelling too fast, there’s a whole series of Jodie Whittaker’s brilliant Doctor for me to enjoy, with my friend and hero Chris Chibnall at the helm – I’m still a viewer for now.”
