Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Planning is the key to success
OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley thinks planning is the key to success and doesn’t believe it when fellow celebrities claim they haven’t thought about their future.
The 27-year-old supermodel is always looking towards the future and believes it’s important to have a “strategic plan” for her career.
She explained: “I definitely have a better idea now of where I want to be in five and ten years, and I think that’s important. I don’t believe anybody who is successful doesn’t have a strategic plan.”
The blonde beauty – who has been in a relationship with actor Jason Statham since 2010 – added that she doesn’t believe fellow celebrities when they claim they haven’t thought about their future.
She told Elle UK magazine: “Sometimes I read interviews with girls and they’re like, ‘Oh, I just take it as it comes,’ and I’m like, ‘That’s bulls**t!’ Whether you’re an entertainer or a model or an actress, it takes so much that there has to be a big picture.”
Meanwhile, Devon-born Rosie – who has modelled for a host of luxury labels, including Burberry, in the past and has her own lingerie collection with Marks and Spencer – recently admitted she throws weekly dinner parties at her home in Los Angeles as a way to maintain her British roots.
She added that while she doesn’t like to drink the nation’s favourite beverage, tea, she does indulge in the occasional biscuit.
Rosie said: “I have a lot of British friends in LA which helps me stay rooted. I have a good roast once a week and invite my British friends over. I don’t drink tea – I’m probably the only British girl you’ll meet who doesn’t drink tea – but I do like a Hobnob or Rich Tea [biscuit].”
