Dita Von Teese creates lingerie with Christian Louboutin

OHMYGOSSIP — Dita Von Teese is releasing a lingerie line with Christian Louboutin called XXXtian – it is the first time the French shoe designer has entered the underwear market.

The burlesque star has created a seven-piece, limited edition capsule collection which she has named XXXtian, a reference to the signature the French shoe designer uses at the end of his emails, “Xtian”.

Dita said: “Given the erotic nature of the print, we decided to name it XXXtian.”

The range includes a bra, a bodice and suspenders, as well as a negligee kimono and every item comes with a Louboutin-designed toile de Jouy motif.

The items can be purchased exclusively from online lingerie retailer Glamuse.com and the line starts from $108.

Dita has created several underwear lines in the past, and her latest Von Follies range was inspired by 1940s men’s magazines.

The vintage-obsessed star previously revealed: “The line is based on times past – not replicas of vintage lingerie but finding ways of making it more functional and wearable … It’s inspired by vintage pieces that I’ve collected in the last 23 years. I also have a lot of vintage pin-up art, old catalogs, and men’s magazines from the 30s and 40s, so I get a lot of ideas from those.”
