Amanda Bynes wants a different conservator
OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Bynes wants a “different conservator” to replace her mother, Lynn Bynes, as they “aren’t speaking” at the moment.
The 28-year-old actress, who was recently released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California after being involuntarily committed for the second time on October 10, isn’t currently speaking to Lynn Bynes, who was placed in control of the ‘Easy A’ star’s welfare and finances via a conservatorship last week, and she wants someone else to be instated as her legal guardian.
The blonde beauty wrote on Twitter: “I’m not living with my parents
“I’m not legally obligated to. My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved (sic)”
She later suggested a friend had posted the tweets, but then added: “I’m so mad at my parents. They are with holding my belongings and money from me so I don’t have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment. We aren’t speaking.
“So until I get a different conservator ill look terrible because I don’t have enough to get new clothes or anything I need (sic)”
It was previously reported that the ‘What I Like About You’ star is living off gift cards.
A source said Lynn and her father, Rick Bynes, are too “burnt out” to let her continue living with them and give the cards to Amanda’s court-appointed lawyer who then passes them on to her to cover her living expenses.
A lawyer claiming to represent Amanda asked a judge to remove Lynn’s ability to make decisions on the troubled star’s behalf on Friday (31.10.14), but the judge ruled the actress lacked the capacity to enter into a binding contract or hire a lawyer, so he refused to allow the hearing to go ahead.
