FKA twigs is to work on the next James Bond soundtrack

OHMYGOSSIP — FKA twigs is to work on the next James Bond soundtrack after being recommended by theme singer Adele. The work of 26-year-old singer – whose real name is Tahliah Barnett – was introduced to ‘Bond 24’s director Sam Mendes by ‘Skyfall’ theme singer Adele, and he thinks her songs will fit perfectly with the next movie in the franchise.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “twigs met with top executives and they told her Mendes loves her music and wants some of it in ‘Bond’.

“He was nudged in her direction by Adele, who loves twigs. If she gets ‘Bond’ she’ll become a wellknown name.”

However, while twigs – who is dating actor Robert Pattinson – will feature on the soundtrack, Adele is expected to record the theme song for the second movie in a row.

The source added: “Adele will still be the iconic songstress of ‘Bond 24’ and is writing a new song for it.”

Last month, ‘Skyfall’ hitmaker Adele made a rare public appearance to see FKA twigs perform in London and though the ‘Pendulum’ singer admits they have never spoken before, she is now looking forward to meeting the award-winning star because they have things in common now.

twigs, who missed out on picking up the Barclaycard Mercury Prize last week after her shortlisted album lost out to Young Fathers’ record ‘Dead’, said: ”I haven’t met Adele, I once saw her at the XL Christmas party but I didn’t say hi, but next time I see her we’ll have a talking point.”
