Channing Tatum’s wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum approves screen stripping
OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum shows his stripper moves to wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum and she tells him if they’re OK to use in the ‘Magic Mike’ movies.
The 34-year-old hunk – who reprises his role as Mike Lane in forthcoming sequel ‘Magic Mike XXL’ – shows all his routines to Jenna Dewan-Tatum and she tells him if they are OK to be shown on screen.
He admitted: “Our two choreographers on the movie, they’re really, really good friends [with Jenna]. So I work it out with them and then I go show Jenna for approval.”
And Channing insists his spouse – with who he has 16-month-old daughter Everly – doesn’t mind about the raunchy subject matter of the movies because they are so close to his heart.
The actor, who penned the films based on his own experiences as a stripper, told People magazine: “She actually loves ‘Magic Mike’, believe it or not. It’s an interesting thing that actors have to deal with. We’re 10 years into it now, so it’s kind of old hat – we’ve moved past it.
“If I was just doing some movie about strippers, then she’d probably be like, ‘Why do you want to do that?’.
“But it started off as a story that I really love, and it’s grown into something that I love even more because it’s a weird world that I experienced in my real life.
“It’s just a part of me telling some part of my life. And she understands that.”
