Vanessa Williams is getting married for the third time

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Williams is going to be a bride again! The former “Ugly Betty” and “Desperate Housewives” star confirmed during a taping of Queen Latifah’s talk show Friday that she’s engaged.

Latifah started out the conversation by saying “Vanessa, I have been trying to have a conversation with you ladies and gents, but I am blinded by the light coming from that bling ring on your finger” regarding the giant diamond.

“Oh sorry darling. I got engaged,” the 51-year-old revealed. “I have had a lot of good things happen. I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings.”

The lucky guy is businessman Jim Skrip. The pair met a year and a half ago while they were both vacationing in Egypt.

This will be the third marriage for the singer, actress and former Miss America. She has three adult kids by first husband Ramon Hervey and a 14-year-old daughter from her five year marriage to former NBA star Rick Fox.
