Miranda Lambert leads the nominations at the upcoming Country Music Association Awards (CMA) + The full list of CMA nominations
OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Lambert is in the lead with nine nominations at this year’s CMA awards, which will air on November 5. The 30-year-old singer is at the front of the pack with an outstanding nine nods at this year’s ceremony, which will be hosted for the seventh time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on November 5.
Dierks Bentley, 38, is in second place, but leads the guys, with five nominations, while Keith Urban and Blake Shelton are also up for awards.
Taylor Swift will go up against Miranda, Martina McBride and Carrie for the Female Vocalist of the Year crown, while Blake and Keith will battle it out for the Entertainer of the Year prize.
Meanwhile, Blake, Miranda, Dierks, Eric Church
and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will go head-to-head for the Single of the Year title, while Lady Antebellum are hoping to secure the Vocal Group of the Year gong.
The 48th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on ABC at 8pm.
