Chelsy Davy is getting ready to announce her engagement to Charles Goode
OHMYGOSSIP — Chelsy Davy is reportedly set to announce her engagement to her jeweller boyfriend Charles Goode when they return home from a holiday in Africa.
The 28-year-old lawyer – who dated Britain’s Prince Harry on and off between 2004 and 2010 – is believed to have accepted her society jeweller boyfriend’s proposal while on a recently holiday in Africa.
Friends of the couple believe that Charles may have popped the question when the couple visited the summit of Mount Mulanja in Malawi and are waiting until they have returned home to make an official announcement.
A source told The Mail on Sunday: “He made it pretty clear before he left for Africa that he wants to marry Chelsy.
“He is off-comms out there, so if there is an announcement it will come this week when they return home.”
Meanwhile, the pretty blonde is said to have ended her relationship with the 29-year-old Prince after deciding she didn’t want to lead a royal life.
The pair remain good friends and it is thought that Chelsy – who attended his brother Prince William’s wedding to Duchess Catherine in 2011 – will be present at his upcoming 30th birthday celebration, organised by the Duchess, in September.
