Britain’s Prince George is a fashion trendsetter
OHMYGOSSIP — Britain’s Prince George has been hailed as a fashion “trendsetter” with mothers around the globe trying to buy clothes he is seen wearing in public.
The 10-month-old tot, whose mother Duchess Catherine is a style icon in her own right, has become an inspiration for mothers who are eager to dress their own baby boys in the exact same clothes as the young prince.
Christine Innamorato, creative director of upscale children’s clothing brand Bonpoint, said: “Every mother, especially the British ones, dream of dressing their children like the royal baby. He might only be months old, but Prince George is already a trendsetter, just like his mother.”
Meanwhile, British designer Rachel Riley – whose children’s clothes are sold in London and New York – has seen sales rise exponentially since George was seen wearing many of her outfits during a recent royal trip to Australia.
She gushed to the Star Tribune newspaper: “It’s life-changing. I love to dress my own children, and I love to dress our customers’ children. But if you asked me if there was one child I’d like to dress, it would be the next heir to the throne.”
