Rachel Zoe: Confidence is more important than clothes
OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Zoe claims a positive attitude is far more important that what you wear. The stylist and designer- who released her first clothing collection in 2011 – believes a positive attitude beats having a stylish outfit.
She explained to E! Online: “To be honest, it’s all about confidence. When you look better, you feel better and smile more. Trust me, it goes a long way.”
The 42-year-old was also on hand to offer some fashion advice in the run up to the summer months.
She said: “Summer means caftan weather. Let’s just wear caftans all days. Any excuse to wear a caftan!”
Meanwhile, Rachel – who has two sons, Kaius, 6 months and Skyler, two, with her husband Roger Berman – had to cancel an appearance at New York Fashion week this February in order to take care of her young children.
She has since confirmed she will be returning to NYFW as usual in September with a 60s-inspired bohemian Fall 2014 collection.
According to WWD, she said: “While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I’ve made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from February 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles.
“As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York.”
