Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik mark anniversary thousands of miles apart

OHMYGOSSIP — X Factor ‘super-couple’ Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik celebrated their second anniversary together last Saturday – despite being on different continents.

The Little Mix singer and One Direction hunk started dating in April 2012, after having first met (where else?) in the X Factor studios the year that Perrie and her pals won the TV talent show.

Unfortunately, Zayn and his bandmates are currently performing in South America, while Perrie is gearing up for Little Mix’s first headline tour of the USA, so they were unable to be together on the day.

Perrie did mark the occasion online, however, and tweeted a montage of pictures of her and her beau throughout their two years together.

The 20-year-old singer posted alongside: “Happy 2 year Anniversary! I love you loads … can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

The couple announced their engagement last year but seem to be in no hurry to set a date for their wedding, with Perrie admitting that she has next to nothing planned for her big day.

Fabulous magazine quoted her as saying: “Everyone’s like, ‘Have you planned the hen night? Have you planned this and that?”‘

“But we’ve been so busy, I haven’t.”

Jokily, she added: “I don’t want to go into it half-ars*d. We want to do it properly.”
