Keira Knightley ruined Chanel wedding dress

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley ruined her Chanel wedding dress by spilling red wine down it on her big day last year. The 28-year-old actress and her beau James Righton tied the knot in France last year, but she admits her stunning frock is ruined because her friend knocked her glass out of her hand on her big day.

She explained: “It’s [the dress has] now got red wine spilled down the front because the last time I wore it my friend went like this [she juts out her elbows] and now it’s everywhere. I didn’t quite realise the extent of it until I got home.

“It’s quite impressively splattered. But, hey, a good night is a good night and when a dress has had its time, maybe it’s had its time. I’m pretty sure I can get it out but, if I can’t, I’m happy with the memory of a good night and the story of how the dress got destroyed.”

Meanwhile, Keira – who is the spokesmodel for Chanel – admits she loves working for Chanel because she gets to dress up on the red carpet and pretend to be someone else.

She explained to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I get to dress up as somebody different. When I’m on the red carpet, it’s, ‘Oooh, who am I going to be tonight?’ And I like that, I think that’s quite fun.”
