Lucy Mecklenburgh rushed her son to see a doctor amid choking fears

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Mecklenburgh rushed her son to the doctor after he started choking on an apple.
The 29-year-old star – who has 11-month-old son Roman with actor Ryan Thomas – took to Instagram to ask her fans for advice after the youngster’s apple incident.
She wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “This morning Roman choked on a little piece of apple, he managed to clear it himself but spent two hours gagging, being sick, and bringing up saliva.
“He’s just not himself, I think it must be the acid irritating his throat and shock. He’s not eaten breakfast, and lunch he put in his mouth, gagged, and spat it all out.
“From anyone’s experience, is this just fear? I’m worried he’s really hungry but too scared to eat.”
Lucy – who first found fame in ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – subsequently clarified the situation, revealing she’d already taken Roman to see a doctor.
She said: “We did go to the GP and he suggested A&E if he continued to refuse fluids, but he has finally had a bottle of water and breast fed, just won’t eat solids.”
Lucy later revealed she was checking on her baby boy every 15 minutes as he napped, and recalled the dramatic series of events that led to her reaching out online.
She said: “It was awful, it went on for two hours – just him bringing up saliva and being sick then being fine, and suddenly gagging and bringing more up. It all escalated.”
But in a separate post on Instagram, Lucy reassured her followers that Roman is now “absolutely fine”.
She wrote: “Such a scary morning with Roman choking but he’s absolutely fine thank god. I’ve just smothered him with kisses and cuddles all day [heart, stars and prayers emojis] (sic)”
