Kate Winslet worried about wetting herself during Labor Day premiere

OHMYGOSSIP — Heavily pregnant Kate Winslet joked she was worried she might wet herself on the red carpet at the ‘Labor Day’ premiere in London last night (15.10.13).

Winslet hit the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square last night to promote her new drama as part of the London Film Festival, but was concerned she may have to rush off to the bathroom at any moment.

Asked whether she found it difficult doing press in her condition, Kate joked: “It’s fine, actually. I mean, I’ve still got a way to go, so I’m not quite waddling. Just don’t let me sneeze, because I might wet myself at the same time.”

The 38-year-old blonde – who has nine-year-old son Joe with ex-husband Sam Mendes, and daughter Mia, 13, with ex-husband Jim Threapleton – hasn’t been experiencing any bizarre cravings this time around, expect for an unquenchable thirst for orange juice.

Kate quipped: “At the moment I seem to be wanting orange juice a lot. I don’t know quite why that is, but it’s not so weird. I wish I could tell you I had some weird craving. I wish I could be like that woman on the advert who loves tuna fish and banana, but I’m not like that at all.”

The Oscar-winning actress is expected to give birth to her third child, her first with new husband Ned Rocknroll, in December, but hasn’t yet decided whether she will take an extended break from her career once the baby is born.

Quizzed if she was taking maternity leave, she replied: “Err… Ask me that on a different red carpet, I’ve got pregnancy brain!”

Kate also said she thoroughly enjoyed working with Josh Brolin on the drama film because they share the same work ethic.

She explained: “Working on films can be really exhausting because the hours are really long. It isn’t glamorous at all – you’re up at 4.30am and you don’t get home until nine at night.

“That’s one of the reasons I don’t do it that often because it does take a lot out of you. I certainly give it my all when I’m there and Josh really does the same thing.”
