Kate Hudson’s son wants neon tux for wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson has revealed her son Ryder wants to wear a “neon green tux” to her wedding to Muse singer Matt Bellamy. The 34-year-old actress got engaged to the Muse frontman in April 2011 and although she is remaining tight-lipped on the date of her nuptials Kate says nine-year-old Ryder – her child with ex-husband Chris Robinson – is ready to make a bold fashion choice on the big day.

During an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ – which will air today (08.10.13) – she revealed: “He apparently wants to wear a neon green tux. He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That’s pretty cool. He’s a bit of a fashion boy.”

Kate admits Ryder is very excited about the wedding although she thinks he’s more interested in the reception than the fact his mother and Matt are making a commitment to one another.

The ‘Bride Wars’ star – who has a two-year-old son Bingham with Matt – said: “I think he looks forward to more the party than actually the idea of us getting married. He seems to, like, have it really planned out what he’s wearing.”

Kate – whose mother is Goldie Hawn and stepfather is Kurt Russell – has said she won’t reveal any details of her nuptials and plans to say “I do” in secret.

She previously stated: “I think until the day we get married, the answer is going to be, ‘We have no intention right now of getting married.’ And then you’ll find out we got married.”
