Lauryn Hill in prison for tax evasion

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauryn Hill has been sent to prison for tax evasion. According to TMZ, the Fugees singer has checked into Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, where she will serve a month sentence.

Sources say that Hill will not be isolated from the rest of the prisoners in the “minimum security type facility” and will be living in “baracks type” housing with the in-mates.

The Killing Me Softly singer will also serve three months of home confinement after her stretch inside, for failing to pay her dues on over $1 million in earnings back in 2005.
